To keep the gender enrollments equal for the Adult Ballroom Dance Camp, we are now requiring all FEMALE participants to sign up with a partner of the opposite gender (one female with one male). This does not mean both will be partners throughout the camp. Partners vary with classes and levels. It is strictly to help keep the numbers equal to ensure a better camp experience for the participants. MALE participants can still register as single participants. If we reach a point where the number of males outnumbers the females, we will open up single participant enrollment to females again.
LADIES: Please have both partners information ready at the time of registration. If one partner drops from the camp, the other partner will also be dropped.
For those ladies who are not able to find a partner, we have a waiting list. As openings become available in the camp, we will call those ladies on the list in the order in which they were placed on it.
To register or get on the waiting list, please call (801) 422-7589 or come into 169 Harman Continuing Education Building (please see below for more details and available registration times).

A pocket-size meal ticket will be issued to those who wish to have quick access to meals on campus. The ticket may be used at the Cannon Center cafeteria, the Cougareat, the Creamery, and various snack bars on campus, as well as the vending machines. The balance on the meal ticket decreases by the amount of purchase. No refunds will be given on any remaining balances.
On-Campus housing is available for 2012. We have a limited number of spaces available in Heritage Halls housing units, both shared and private, available Sunday through Friday night. These residence halls house two to a room and are separated by gender. Private rooms are in a shared room format, with no roommate. There will not be any ’family housing’ units available this year for married couples. If housing is needed before Sunday, there will be an additional fee. Arrangements for EARLY ARRIVAL should be made with the BYU Housing Services Office by calling (801) 422-5671. Roommate preferences must be indicated during the registration process.
Heritage Halls, located on the east side of campus (closest housing to the Wilkinson Student Center where classes are held), provides apartment-style living for tenants. Each ’apartment’ has 3 rooms with a shared kitchen and shared bathroom. Rooms are equipped with twin-size beds, pullout drawers, closets, and desks.
For more information about the Heritage Halls housing units and rooms, including apartment layout, please see the ’Shared Room’ option.
For those who would prefer to stay in a local hotel, we have arranged with some local hotels for rooms to be reserved at a special conference rate. Below is a table of hotels, rates, and a link to their Web sites. When calling to make reservations, please let them know that you are with the BYU Adult Ballroom Camp and they will give you this conference rate as long as they have rooms available. Please note that one month prior to the camp, most hotels will release the un-booked rooms from the reservation block and open them to the general public. They will still honor the BYU rates if rooms are available after this time, but to assure the rate and availability, make sure to book at least one month in advance of the camp.
