Advanced Intensive: July 16–27, 2012
Youth Ages 11–18
Participants will enrich their ballet training under the skillful eye of some of the finest artists in the profession. BYU’s Summer Ballet Intensives offer experience in artistic training, including ballet technique, pointe and variations, character, jazz, and modern dance. Activities and discussions in conditioning, nutrition, and injury prevention will complement the two weeks of dance instruction. Each dancer will receive individual feedback and personal evaluations to improve artistic and technical development. Two weeks of instruction and rehearsal culminate in a final performance that showcases each dancer’s talents and what has been learned.
