a- Many web sites specialize in matching your interests and abilities with opportunities to volunteer and serve. Here are some places to start:

b- The Latter-day Saint Humanitarian Center receives items for needy people throughout the world. The site listed below lists guidelines for creating hygiene kits, travel size sewing kits, layette gowns, newborn kits, and school kits as well as providing information about other needed items.

c- Local opportunities for service are often posted on notice boards at shopping centers and other community locations.
d- Ward service projects are a comfortable way to make a difference
while serving with other ward members.

Expanding
and Sharing Talents:
Let others know of your talents and abilities as well as areas you’d like to learn about.
Teach a skill in exchange for the opportunity to learn something new.
“Swapping talents” is a great way to gain a friend and a new skill.
Offer your talents as service to others. Teach a class to neighborhood children, help an elderly person learn about the computer, or demonstrate a craft idea.
Take classes to learn something new through continuing education
or community programs.
