Title: “Mock Disaster Family Home Evening”
Exhibitor: Teresea Robison
Description: Preparing for an emergency is something every family can
benefit from. By practicing at home, family members will feel closer and more secure in case anything really happens. Family home evening “role playing” will teach necessary skills to help families survive in case of a real emergency. Ideas include taking an inventory of food storage, learning how to shut off the water, gas, etc., what to do when the lights go out, and cooking dinner with no electricity. This is a fun way to learn something that when the time comes, will prepare everyone to serve each other and remain calm.
