General Information

Educator and a Student

Admission and Standards

Participants of any race, color, creed, and ethnic or national origin are accepted for admission to this program provided they maintain the university standards while on campus.  These include modesty in dress and conduct and abstinence from alcohol, tobacco, coffee, tea, and harmful drugs.

We are committed to providing a learning atmosphere which reasonably accommodates persons with disabilities who are otherwise qualified.  Prior to registration, applicants with disabilities are invited to discuss both the program content and available facilities with the program director.  Any special accommodations must be requested at least two weeks prior to the beginning of a program.

BYU Employee/Spouse Tuition Benefit

Because these workshops have a credit option, eligible BYU employees and their spouses may receive a university tuition benefit for the amount of tuition.  (It is not mandatory that the employee or spouse choose the credit option in order to receive the tuition benefit.)  BYU Benefits will NOT cover additional fees for textbooks and materials, if any. Most registrants can confirm their eligibility when finalizing registration online.  If the registration system does not confirm eligibility, please call (801) 422-2568 and the registration process can be completed manually.  If you have questions about your eligibility for tuition benefits, call BYU Benefits Services at (801) 422-4716.

Financial Aid

Limited funds are available based on financial need, academic potential, character, and the capacity to help others.  The amount awarded will vary according to the need of the student.  To obtain an application, please call (801) 422-2568.  Completed applications for financial aid should be submitted as early as possible and must be received at least two weeks before the beginning of the program.
