This year, there will be two locations where people may attend. On Friday, March 2, the symposium will be held at the LDS Conference Center Little Theater in Salt Lake City. The first session will be held from 3:00–5:00 p.m. The evening session will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will feature Elder M. Russell Ballard of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.
At 8:30 a.m. Saturday, March 3, the symposium will continue at the BYU Conference Center, concluding with the keynote address by Joseph Fielding McConkie, beginning at 12:10 p.m. During the symposium, concurrent sessions will be offered by several notable historians, scholars, educators, and authors, covering a variety of topics that were part of the era of President Smith.
