A block of rooms has been reserved for symposium attendees.  You may reserve rooms at the Provo Marriott, 101 West 100 North, Provo, Utah 84601, by calling (801) 377-4700 no later than June 17, 2008.  Tell the reservation agent that you are attending the BYU Symposium on Books for Young Readers to receive the conference rate.

Directions to the Provo City Library at Academy Square

I-15 Southbound:  About 45 miles from Salt Lake City, take Exit 269 (University Parkway exit).  Turn east (left towards the mountains) at the off-ramp traffic signal.  On University Parkway, drive east through Orem, and down the hill into Provo.  Turn right onto University Avenue and proceed until you get to 500 North.  The Library is between 500 and 600 North on the east (left) side of the street.

I-15 Northbound:  Take the BYU/University Avenue exit off I-15.  Drive north along University Avenue past Provo Center Street.  The Library is between 500 and 600 North on the east (right) side of the street.

Airport-to-Provo Transportation

It is approximately a one-hour drive from the Salt Lake City International Airport to Provo.  We strongly encourage you to make shuttle reservations ahead of time to avoid waiting at the airport.  If you choose to make arrangements upon arrival, the shuttle service counters are located near the baggage-claim area.  Car rental is available at the Salt Lake City International Airport.
